ISS Video

I’ve pulled together a short video of the contact with the International Space Station that took place at the National Scouting Museum during Jamboree on the Air, October 20, 2012. It only captures two of the questions asked Sunita Williams out of quite a few. But it does give you a feel for the event.

My goal for this coming week is to create an overview video of the entire JOTA weekend with photos provided from the stations that reported on their events. I will also provide the overall numbers around JOTA, which should be up considerably this year for the USA.

JOTA Station List

1

We had 94 stations register their JOTA operations just this past week. This list has now been added to the master list, which brings the total to 348. This is more than double the number of stations that registered last year! The current estimate of the number of Scouts participating is nearly 32,000. We ought to have a fantastic time demonstrating the technology, fun, and magic of amateur radio.

The spreadsheet with all the stations listed along with the detailed operation times, frequencies, etc. can be downloaded by clicking here. JOTA Registration Master File Oct 19
