The 2014 Jamboree on the Air video is now posted. You can find it on the Jamboree on the Air page along with videos from previous years. We received some excellent photos from this year’s station reports.
Thanks to everyone who filed their report and provided photos. Sorry that we couldn’t use them all.
The 2014 USA Jamboree on the Air report is available as an infographic. Check it out.
FYI to those who have subscribed to email for each new post here at the K2BSA website. We have merged our general website email list and the Jamboree on the Air/Radio Scouting email list. This will greatly simplify our communication tasks. Prior to merging the lists our only way of reaching the website email list was to post to this website. Now we can send one email to everyone. Moreover, there is seldom a case of posting news here on the website that we wouldn’t want to send to the full list. If that does crop up in the future, we can set up another email list.
Note that if you want to opt out of the combined email list, there will be an unsubscribe link when you receive your first email.
During Jamboree on the Air weekend, Joe Condren WB2ZRU, posted a photo to the K2BSA.Scouting Facebook page of the 1970 JOTA operation from K2BFW at the National Scout HQ in New Brunswick, NJ. We’ve posted it here and added it to the history page on the K2BSA radio station.
