K2BSA Amateur Radio Association — dedicated to amateur radio within the Scout movement. Providing information to support all Radio Scouting activities.
Plan to have HF, Voice and, CW operation. VHF/UHF along with digital and DMR stations. Merit badge counselors available.
We will be operating from our mobile Communications Center. Deploying HF both SSB and Digital, VHF Repeater & Simplex Ops, Packet Radio, APRS, Winlink and attempt Satellite Ops. Also DMR Digital Voice. We will also assist in completing their merit badge requirements.
Jamboree on the Air Station
Setting up a Demo Radio Station to Promote Radio in Scouting and the Radio Merit Badge
Outdoor oriented and Stem Merit Badges will be offered with optional overnight Friday and Saturday night camping at Camp Verdugo Oaks. Will include radio Merit Badge. Scouts will be able to make contacts via radio. These contacts are dependent on Radio Propagation conditions.
The lodges of section E-12 will gather for a weekend of food, fellowship, and fun at the Heritage Reservation. Amateur Radio activities will be offered throughout the program day. Modes and Frequencies will vary throughout the day.

Philmont PTC "Amateur Radio Scouting"
2022 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This is part of the STEM Activity area of the conference. All attendees of the conference are welcome to come and participate with us. We are planning on paring with the University's ham club for additional resources.
Camp Yawgoog Radio Night. The event will be Wednesday July 27 from 2-10pm Eastern.
Troop 6405 (Seneca District) will be guests at the Steel City Amateur Radio Club for a campout and Radio Merit Badge class. The event will include operation of the club station for instructional and badge requirements. Club volunteers will help with this activity.
