We are planning on holding a combined event at NorCal Adventure Area in Dobbins, California. We will be having multiple units, multiple modes, and also having an Order of the Arrow.
JOTA station for the units in our city... We've used the special event call W1S for the past two years, but someone else grabbed it before I could reapply...
The Club KL7JFU members will set up go kits and portable ops and operate Saturday and tear down Saturday evening around 1600. Annual JOTA event with stations set up, round robin style, as well as a separate Radio MB class. Participants can sign up for both or only one if they don’t want to take the MB.
I will be running the radio merit badge that day and just realized since it's kids day on the air their will be other locations using KN0BSA call sign so figured I should try getting a event call sign with K2BSA. I will be operating in the afternoon on echolink and maybe some UHF/VHF.

Council wide camp-o-ree with an up to date theme. Introducing the Scouts to Science and Technology beyond what they get in school, with some competitive testing thrown in.
This is our Council wide Scouting America Camporee for 6th grade and up Scouts. It will be held at the Zink Scout Ranch (SC4882) in Skiatook, Oklahoma on 04/25/2025-04/27/2025. Our Radio Scouting committee will host a HF radio "SCOTA" station for the Scouts and adults to try.
In conjunction with ARRL field day we want to offer to Scouts.
