District event open to all scouts and families in district/council.

Texas Southwest Council Cub Camp is a family fun weekend with STEM activities, including an amateur radio station!

Texas Southwest Council Winter Camp, held at Camp Sol Mayer Dec 26-30th, will offer the Radio Merit Badge to approved scouts, and there will be designated open sessions for all scouts attending Winter Camp to visit and use the station.

This will be Old North State Council's first winter camp. Smith Chart Amateur Radio Society (K4OO) will be loaning a communications trailer with 3 HF stations during evening programs. Camp Horseshoe Scout Reservation in Rising Sun, MD is operating a new camp radio station during summer camp with their own equipment and a new antenna.
