2022 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This is part of the STEM Activity area of the conference. All attendees of the conference are welcome to come and participate with us. We are planning on paring with the University's ham club for additional resources.
Camp Yawgoog Radio Night. The event will be Wednesday July 27 from 2-10pm Eastern.
Troop 6405 (Seneca District) will be guests at the Steel City Amateur Radio Club for a campout and Radio Merit Badge class. The event will include operation of the club station for instructional and badge requirements. Club volunteers will help with this activity.
Council wide STEM camp. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on STEM merit badges, BSA Nova Awards and participate in STEM activities.
We will be teaching Radio merit badge to 20 Scouts during the weekend.
Signs signals and code merit badge instruction provide approximately 100 Scouts and leaders a chance to learn about Amateur Radio and talk to Scouts around the world
The Clay County Amateur Radio Club will sponsor a JOTA Event for the fifth year in a row for the Caney Fork District (Formerly Upper Cumberland District) Boy Scouts . For the Third year in a row the Clay County ARC members will conduct the JOTA event in the Standing Stone State Park .
Cascade Pacific Council is hosting Webelos Woods October 14-16, 2022, at Camp Meriwether. We are planning to set up a HAM radio station at the camp to introduce and teach Scouts about HAM radio. The Sam Houston Area Council will be having a JOTA event with a balloon launch. Be on the look out for a K2BSA balloon during JOTA!
The Marshal County Amateur Radio Club will be setting up several JOTA stations at the council Ironhorse Festival.
We will have TOP fun Camporee patrol Competition / Demo Radio station event and Jamboree on the Air, Possible Radio merit badge via a Zoom meeting for up to 10 Scouts from councils across USA and overseas councils.
We will be operating from our mobile Communications Center. Deploying HF both SSB and Digital, VHF Repeater & Simplex Ops, Packet Radio, APRS, Winlink and attempt Satellite Ops. Also DMR Digital Voice. We will also assist in completing their merit badge.
