K2BSA/9 – Eclipsefest 2.0 – Makanda, IL

Eclipsefest 2.0 is a STEM-related camping event for Scouts BSA that coincides with a total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024 at Pine Ridge Scout Reservation in Makanda, IL. The weekend event will host many STEM related activities as well teaching two sessions of Radio Merit Badge, fox hunting, and an active field station operating VHF, HF, and Digital Modes throughout the event. Eclipsefest 1.0 in 2017 had over 500 scouts and scouters from across the country and this event looks to do the same.
