K2BSA Amateur Radio Association — dedicated to amateur radio within the Scout movement. Providing information to support all Radio Scouting activities.
We’re having a traditional Klondike Derby but are adding an HF radio station and trying to get Scouts talking to Scouts. Additionally, we will try to recruit some Scouts for a Radio Merit Badge class.
Special event station in cooperation with the Cherryland Amateur Radio Club (CARC). Scouts talking to Scouts on 7.190, 14.290, 21.360, 28.390 Mhz SSB.
Our stations originates from the famous Interlochen National Music Camp in Interlochen, Michigan.
This event is in cooperation with the Cherryland Amateur Radio Club of Traverse City, Michigan, who is trying to put together a charter for an Exploring Club to do amateur radio and electronics.
