2013 Report

The 2013 National Scout Jamboree held at the Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve is now history. During the 10 days of the Jamboree the 42 K2BSA staff members conducted 2,604 amateur radio demonstrations, made 1,958 contacts with other stations, taught Radio Merit Badge classes resulting in 339 Scouts earning the badge, conducted fox-hunting activities for over 100 Scouts, made a contact with the International Space Station, and launched four high-altitude balloons.
